1, deal n.
deal 作名词的时候意思是“交易；买卖”。
❖ She got a new car for $1000! That was really a good deal!
她一千美金买了辆车！真是15857575376捡了个大便宜！
2, big deal
①形容重要的事情
❖I felt the pressure on me, winning was such a big deal for the whole family.
我感觉到了压力，取胜对全家来说是如此重要。
②形容重要的人物
❖ I was kind of a big deal in high school.
高中时候我可是风云人物。
③也常用作反语，“有什么大不了的！”（表示不屑）
❖ 例如《生活大爆炸》The Big Bang Theory 中，佩妮和谢尔顿的这段对话，
Penny: big deal. Not knowing is part of the fun.
佩妮：有啥大不了的，不知道才有乐趣啊。

3, cut a deal
cut a deal 指在做生意（或司法）方面，和对方达成一个协议。
❖Two years ago he caught me and cut a deal.
他两年前抓住了我，和我签了个协议。
而并不是指破坏一个交易。
❖You gotta cut a deal with these people.
你得和这些人谈判。
4, raw deal
raw deal 原指“不公平或骗人的交易”，引申含义也指“卑鄙的行为”。
❖Those people got a raw deal.
那些人受到不公平的待遇。
当我们感到有人的行为很卑鄙时，我们就可以说：
❖What a raw deal!
真卑鄙啊！
5, Here's the deal
①用来提建议 / 计划，“不如这样...”等
❖It seems that nobody would buy your potatoes.Here's the deal , I'll buy all of them for 20% off, okay?
好像没人要买你的土豆，那你看这样，我全买了你给我打八折，行不？
②用来描述现状“情况是这样的...”
❖So here’s the deal: it seems we can't use Alipay, but we both have no cash left...
现在是这么个情况：好像不能用支付宝，但是咱俩都没有现金了...
6, shady deal
shady有“阴暗的、在阴影下”的意思，
所以shady deal就是不正大光明的、见不得人的勾当，甚至还有触犯刑律之嫌。

❖And behind every shady deal, behind every dollar earned .
