嘉宾简介：Jian Tang, Ph.D., is currently an associate professor at Mila - Quebec AI Institute, a leading AI Institute in Canada founded by A.M. Turing Award laureate Yoshua Bengio. He is a Canada CIFAR AI Research Chair. Dr. Tang is also the founder and CEO of BioGeometry, an AI startup focusing on antibody discovery. His main research interests are graph representation learning, graph neural networks, geometric deep learning, deep generative models, knowledge graphs, and drug discovery. He is one of the most representative researchers in the growing field of graph representation learning and has published a set of representative works in this field such as LINE and RotatE. His work LINE on node representation learning has been widely recognized and has been cited more than 5,000 times. His group recently released an open-source machine learning package, called TorchDrug and TorchProtein, aiming to make AI drug discovery software and libraries freely available.
主持人简介：兰艳艳，女，清华大学教授。曾任中国科学院计算技术研究所研究员，中国科学院大学特聘岗位教授。兰艳艳博士的研究方向为信息检索，机器学习和自然语言处理，在人工智能和机器学习领域重要国际期刊和会议上发表论文80余篇。获得SIGIR最佳学生论文奖和CIKM最佳论文Runner-Up奖。入选国家高层次青年人才计划，中国科学院青年创新促进会优秀会员，北京智源人工智能研究院青年科学家，获得中文信息学会钱伟长中文信息处理科学技术奖一等奖。在学术服务方面，兰艳艳博士长期担任相关领域国际重要会议和期刊的（Senior）PC member和审稿人。担任SIGIR2020暑期学校主席，CIKM2020短文程序委员会主席，EMNLP审稿指导委员会主席，YSSNLP2020大会主席。她还担任是中国计算机学会高级会员，中文信息学会信息检索专委会秘书长，应用数学学会通信与数学专委会副主任。兰艳艳博士目前就职于清华大学智能产业研究院，其团队方向为人工智能与医疗（智慧医疗），主要研究人工智能在蛋白质结构预测、小分子药物设计和生物计算等方向的应用。
